Ben Wallace se salió con 36 puntos, 14 rebotes y 2 robos en 39 minutos de juego en la victoria de Detroit frente a los Wolves.

Día de partidos emocionantes y finales apretados para despedir la pretemporada, y en el que lo más destacado fue la victoria de los Cavs frente a unos Hawks, que a pesar de seguir apostando por los suplentes, al final apañaron el marcador con buenas actuaciones individuales de diversos jugadores.

– Ben Wallace (36 puntos y 14 rebotes) la ganó la partida a Andrew Bogut (22 puntos y 17 rebotes) para que los Pistons se llevasen el partido en la prórroga. Antes, Ronnie Brewer (Wolves) anotó su única canasta para forzar el tiempo extra con un triple sobre la bocina. Billups (27 puntos y 10 asistencias) también estuvo estelar.
– A pesar de lo engañoso del marcador, los Cavs tuvieron el partido controlado desde muy pronto, con LeBron James (28 puntos y 11 rebotes) y Abdur-Rahim (21 puntos y 10 rebotes) como hombres más destacados. En los Hawks, de nuevo, Charlie Bell (21 puntos y 5 robos), Brian Cardinal (28 puntos y 12 rebotes) y Mike James (24 puntos y 9 asistencias) demostraron que tienen calidad suficiente para ser titulares en muchos equipos.
– Bargnani (25 puntos) y Turiaf (15 puntos y 4 tapones) resultaron fundamentales en la remontada ante los Heat y el tercer triunfo de los Bucks en pretemporada. En los Heat buen partido de Diogu (14 puntos), con Stoudamire y Wade muy fallones en el lanzamiento.
– La buena defensa de los Jazz (10 puntos en el último cuarto), ahogó a unos Blazers que no pudieron sacar provecho del buen partido de Pau Gasol (27 puntos, 12 rebotes y 4 tapones). En los Jazz buena labor colectiva con Frye (14 puntos y 11 rebotes), Robinson (14 puntos) y S. Brown (17 puntos) como hombres más destacados.

Además hubo buenas actuaciones de jugadores como Amare Stoudemire (24 puntos), Steve Nash (19 puntos) o Ricky Davis (19 puntos), que han demostrado una muy buena forma en esta pretemporada.
